New 57,000 sq.ft. academic wing with electronic library/cybercafe/lounge, multi-purpose event spaces, lecture theatres, laboratory, classrooms & administration spaces intended to create a dramatic new public image for the campus. The glass, wood roofed library/lounge is a key space for student life.
Visitors to the building enter across a wetland via a covered bridge and porch. An interior pond and winter garden offer the soothing sights and sounds of nature. A central skylit rotunda is the focal point, with a sculptured steel stair.
